Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santos Indalecio started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Tiburcio Nevada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondeau AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Curarú's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Nevada came free, but Julian Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiburcio Nevada came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Rondeau AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Nevada couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Gomez having to interfere. Adolfo Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rondeau AFC's Tiburcio Nevada got a free kick in the 25th minute. Julian Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Ignacio Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rondeau AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Rayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Rayman in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Curarú getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Desiderio Ciano hit a great ball. Julian Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Julian Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Sendoa in the 40th minute of play. Ignacio Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Gomez having to interfere. After the first half Rondeau AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Rayman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Tiburcio Nevada made a precise shot to the right of Julian Gomez. Curarú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Tiburcio Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Julian Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Gomez was a little too slow when Adolfo Sendoa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-5. Ignacio Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Curarú's zone, Tiburcio Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Gomez came out of the goal and Tiburcio Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Indalecio charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Indalecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rondeau AFC booed when Curarú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Rayman in the 70th minute of play forced Curarú's goalkeeper Julian Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Julian Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Sendoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Julian Gomez made a huge save. Curarú's Julian Gomez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Curarú from getting a goal against them.
