Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Candido Olando started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Olando in the 5th minute of play forced Potenza F. C.'s goalkeeper Alfonso Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Guañizul's Flavio Soter got control of the ball when Iker Ellande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Mel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Gavino Eguzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guañizul's Geronimo Ticho suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 18 minutes, Victorio Luix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potenza F. C. and the Guañizul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guañizul booed when Potenza F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Luix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alfonso Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Colon struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Alfonso Lizardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guañizul. Alfonso Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Guañizul defense, Iker Ellande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Soter. The Guañizul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Soter should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Potenza F. C.'s Fausto Dantel got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 33 minutes, Fausto Dantel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potenza F. C. and the Guañizul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guañizul booed when Potenza F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Dantel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Soter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iker Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Soter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Eguzki's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guañizul's goalkeeper Flavio Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Gavino Eguzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potenza F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Eguzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Gavino Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavino Eguzki to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Potenza F. C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gavino Eguzki hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Johans during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente Johans kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Basilio Colon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Candido Olando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alfonso Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Fliz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Victorio Luix got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alfonso Lizardi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Guañizul's Basilio Colon. But to his dismay, Basilio Colon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 84 played minutes Guañizul got a freekick which was hit by Candido Olando. Flavio Soter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Ellande's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Potenza F. C.'s Iker Ellande got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potenza F. C.'s goalkeeper Alfonso Lizardi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potenza F. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guañizul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
