After recieving a nice pass, El Deportivo Boca FC's Lino Ariando tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Primitivo Toli rounded Atraucó's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Lorenzo Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Lorenzo Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atraucó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute of the match Lino Ariando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Theobald showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Primitivo Toli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, El Deportivo Boca FC's Christian Theobald threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Primitivo Toli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. El Deportivo Boca FC's Primitivo Toli got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jairo Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Theobald having to interfere. Maximiliano Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Christian Theobald made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Toli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, El Deportivo Boca FC's Jairo Demario got control of the ball when Lorenzo Donio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Quintan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes El Deportivo Boca FC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Toli. When Tobias Quirce was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Tobias Quirce hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Demario having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Arnulfo Quintan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atraucó and the El Deportivo Boca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Maximiliano Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Deportivo Boca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
