The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Salomon to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernan Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dionisio Crescencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pampas XV's Uriel Hodei got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Quilo in the 60th minute of play forced Pampas XV's goalkeeper Angel Chaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pampas XV's Angel Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Quilo in the 66th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Romeo Eneko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hernan Jerrold fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pampas XV's protests and gave Hernan Jerrold a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pampas XV getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hernan Jerrold hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pampas XV had won after a very even match.
