Gervasio Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Afonso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Maximino Duardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximino Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Favila having to interfere. Arturo Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th match minute, santa negrura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Milian to maneuver through the defense. If Gervasio Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Rudolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Rudolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Faustino Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Isaac Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Valiente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Faustino Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mataldi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Esquipula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Faustino Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mataldi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Esquipula couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Mino during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Freddy Mino hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Mataldi FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Urtsin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Esquipula in the 74th minute of play forced santa negrura FC's goalkeeper Arturo Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Favila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Rudolfo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Faustino Esquipula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mataldi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Isaac Urtsin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Mataldi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Duardo came free, but Maximiliano Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isaac Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mataldi FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Favila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
