With a left leg Dionisio Transito saved Caravantes FC from getting behind. Cumbia Gorda's German Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Nalo in the 11th minute of play. Nereo Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. German Bonifaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Bonifaco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Ciceron went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Caravantes FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Transito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Aritza. Dionisio Transito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumbia Gorda. If Jesus Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Bonifaco having to interfere.

After 53 minutes of play, Cumbia Gorda's Bartolo Pacho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
