Dionisio Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Olo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Transito having to interfere. Nereo Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Hori having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Ciceron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 88 minutes, Gerardo Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picaflor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Richie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Olo in the 92nd minute of play forced Caravantes FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Picaflor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
