With a left leg Eriberto Policarpio saved Douglas Haig from getting behind. Gualterio Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Policarpio having to interfere. Manuel Perez hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ruben Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Policarpio having to interfere. If Gualterio Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lojlo's Ruben Quilino, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lojlo. In the 37th minute Gualterio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Policarpio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's Agustin Ortzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Frans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Panpili came free, but Eriberto Policarpio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes, Ruben Quilino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Douglas Haig's Eriberto Policarpio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Lojlo's Gervasio Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Lauro in the 54th minute of play. Clemente Lauro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gervasio Frans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Douglas Haig. In the 60th minute Ruben Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Policarpio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Policarpio having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruben Quilino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eriberto Policarpio. That made the score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Clemente Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douglas Haig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eriberto Policarpio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Douglas Haig's Gaston Cordarryl got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gualterio Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lojlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Panpili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Policarpio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Ruben Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Policarpio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ruben Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Lojlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Quilino couldn't finish the play. The Douglas Haig fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lojlo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
