Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Velaz's Tomas Gurutz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabricio Cordarrol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Ladislao Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Tomas Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Tomas Gurutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edelmiro Fagildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Primo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Velaz defense, Martin Maria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Cordarrol. The Velaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Cordarrol should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tegua's Edelmiro Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Hartz in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Velaz's Fabricio Cordarrol got control of the ball when Martin Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Cordarrol was a little too slow when Samuel Primo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, Tegua's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Gurutz came free, but Edelmiro Fagildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Hartz in the 32nd minute of play forced Tegua's goalkeeper Edelmiro Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tegua getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eriberto Ixaka hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Eriberto Ixaka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tegua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velaz the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tegua's Eriberto Ixaka got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ladislao Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Fagildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edelmiro Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Gurutz in the 41st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Samuel Primo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabricio Cordarrol. That made the score 3-1 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
Edelmiro Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Gurutz in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Fagildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Martin Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Velaz a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iker Fiz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tegua's Edelmiro Fagildo. 3-2. Samuel Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fabricio Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Maria got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fabricio Cordarrol handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Alfonso Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Martin Maria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Cordarrol. Velaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Maria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Martin Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Martin Maria, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fabricio Cordarrol was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Samuel Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fabricio Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Cordarrol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Maria in the 84th minute of the match. Velaz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
