Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marciano Gil got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Villars booed when Newton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Oso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Edgardo Thomas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victoriano Rainerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Villars's Roman Polentzi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gogo Bingen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Leo Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newton's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Chago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Villars's Pastor Chan got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes Villars got a freekick which was hit by Roman Polentzi. The crowd rose to their feet as Marciano Gil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Rius. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Villars's Candido Rius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Villars from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Edgardo Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Fabian Oso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Victoriano Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villars booed when Newton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Thomas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Rainerio saved Newton from getting behind. Edgardo Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Rainerio having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Villars's Fabian Oso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Rainerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Thomas in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgardo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Victoriano Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Ariel Bermund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Rius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Gilberto Charro fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villars's protests and gave Gilberto Charro a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Newton got a freekick which was hit by Leo Chago. In the 94th minute, Dalmacio Viviano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Newton's Victoriano Rainerio didn't even have to move. Edgardo Thomas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Villars's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Newton were victorious despite being under pressure from Villars for much of the match.
