Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Newton's Marciano Gil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victoriano Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Raimundo Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raimundo Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Maule's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Marciano Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes in the game, Cristian Luzea dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Delmiro Firmo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Aldao AFC's Casimiro Gil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marciano Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Candido Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Gil in the 34th minute of play forced Aldao AFC's goalkeeper Candido Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Gil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Birila having to make a save. After 39 played minutes Aldao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Maule. In the 44th minute, Ariel Bermund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Birila was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Newton getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jacinto Berdoi hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Marcones to strike the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Aldao AFC's Octavio Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Rainerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Aldao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Raphael to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Marciano Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Gil in the 83rd minute of play. Ariel Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aldao AFC's Alejo Dimo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Candido Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Bermund in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Alejo Dimo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldao AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newton the free kick. A collision led to Aldao AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alejo Dimo hit a great ball. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Newton's Marciano Gil fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ariel Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
