The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo Medardo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Justo Orain sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Javier Leguizamón kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The Euscadi fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Euscadi's Delmar Jusepe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute of the match, Delmar Jusepe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Medardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Delmar Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jairo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Delmar Jusepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Jusepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Renca FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Quirze. Justo Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Qwinton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiburcio Romero. That made the score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. After 64 played minutes Euscadi got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Atarratze. Delmar Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Euscadi getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Amador Ospetsu hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Julian Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 84 played minutes Euscadi got a freekick which was hit by Amador Ospetsu. Cayetano Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tiburcio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Qwinton in the 87th minute of play forced Euscadi's goalkeeper Tiburcio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Atarratze in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Medardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Renca FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
