Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Clementi to make the kick off. Cañete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Osoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leandro Gregory came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Golondrinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Gregory couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañete FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Terciero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cañete FC's Benito Mercurio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adan Turi but with some difficulty. The supporters of Golondrinas AFC booed when Cañete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Golondrinas AFC's Faustino Columbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Terciero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Marcelino Terciero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Gregory's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Cañete FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Golondrinas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Sanson took the corner. The corner ended in Clemente Sanson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Golondrinas AFC's Adan Turi did a great save. Tiburcio Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Gregory in the 96th minute of play forced Cañete FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
