Santos Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Osoro in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Garín FC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Nahia. Angelo Guillem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santos Lazcano. Garín FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Robustiano Froylan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cañete FC's Marcelino Terciero. Marcelino Terciero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Garín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Clementi came free, but Santos Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cristo Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garín FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Etor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Terciero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Etor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Terciero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cañete FC's Basilio Baladi got a free kick in the 28th minute. Cristo Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Marcelino Terciero made a huge save. Leo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Cristo Etor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Terciero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Fausto Clementi made a precise shot to the right of Santos Lazcano. Garín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Clementi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Fausto Clementi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santos Lazcano. The goal made the score 1-2. Marcelino Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Froylan in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Garín FC booed when Cañete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes, Amador Ariando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garín FC and the Cañete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amador Ariando hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Clementi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Lazcano saved Garín FC from getting behind. After 68 played minutes Garín FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Cisco. Fausto Clementi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Cañete FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Cañete FC booed when Garín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Cañete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Sanson to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Tiburcio Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Osoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Robustiano Froylan came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Garín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Froylan couldn't finish the play. Cañete FC's Marcelino Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Froylan in the 94th minute of play. Cristo Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Terciero having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cañete FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
