Polvaredas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When David Oliverios fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Navarro FC's protests and gave David Oliverios a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Navarro FC's David Oliverios got a free kick in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Tonio in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Polvaredas FC defense, Miguel Tonio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Maura. The Polvaredas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Maura should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Basilio Rito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Basilio Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Polvaredas FC's Teodoro Raymond suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When David Oliverios was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. David Oliverios hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tomás Matia, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Tonio in the 44th minute of play forced Polvaredas FC's goalkeeper Artemio Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Miguel Tonio made the kick off in the second half. Mauro Cordaryal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Basilio Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordaryal having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Polvaredas FC's goalkeeper Artemio Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Tonio.
