A wasted opportunity for Pereyra FC. If Maximiliano Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Honorato Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Herauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pereyra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Marino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Austin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Iratxo saved Pereyra FC from getting behind.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Austin made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Honorato Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Herauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Florencia's Eustaquio Austin in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ariel Iratxo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Maximiliano Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Louis having to interfere. Rodrigo Erramun hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ismael Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Alonzo Marino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Arturo Loren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pereyra FC's Ariel Iratxo didn't even have to move. 76 minutes into the match, Pereyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Herauso came free, but Ariel Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Iratxo having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Pereyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Orzaize. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Blas Jaunti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pereyra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Florencia the free kick. The supporters of Florencia booed when Pereyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Eustaquio Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Armando Cordeal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pereyra FC the free kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
