With an all-out effort, Pareditas FC's Bonifacio Claude threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Israel Ospin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Lorenzo Tome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Pio got free with Bonifacio Claude in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Samborombón AFC's Bonifacio Claude got control of the ball when Baltasar Pio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Samborombón AFC's Alfredo Lartaun got a free kick in the 40th minute. Baltasar Pio might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Claude. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Pio ran back to his position shaking his head. Remigio Otsando charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Otsando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Pareditas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samborombón AFC:s goal. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Samborombón AFC. Ricardo Paulin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Godfredo Playo. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bonifacio Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Ospin in the 57th minute of play. Lorenzo Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Samborombón AFC booed when Pareditas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Lorenzo Tome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samborombón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Tome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Vermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Godfredo Playo made a huge save. After 76 minutes of play, Samborombón AFC's Flavio Vermudo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Playo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th match minute, Pareditas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Claus to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Ospin in the 84th minute of play forced Samborombón AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Claude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Pio in the 88th minute of play.
