The Pilolil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dionisio Lizar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Papagayos FC's Albino Iraunkor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Pilolil's Wilfredo Tello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Sanduru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Hernan Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tomas Sanduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Ondino during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Ondino hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Wilfredo Tello made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Sanduru. Papagayos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Ivan Balesio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leon Sadurni, 1-3. After having played for 35 minutes, Hernan Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilolil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Sasoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Tello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Sanduru was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Papagayos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Sasoin came free, but Tomas Sanduru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes, Wilfredo Tello made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Papagayos FC's Tomas Sanduru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Papagayos FC's Danilo Huly got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Hernan Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pilolil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Sasoin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 60 minutes, Wilfredo Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilolil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Wilfredo Tello made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Sanduru. Papagayos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. If Hernan Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leon Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Sasoin in the 83rd minute of play. If Wilfredo Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Papagayos FC's zone, Hernan Sasoin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Sanduru came out of the goal and Hernan Sasoin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papagayos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Hernan Sasoin scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Sanduru, making the score, 1-6. After a rather tough play, Pilolil's Edelmiro Cordareo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Pilolil played a much better game than Papagayos FC and deserved their victory. The Papagayos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
