Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mercedes's Roque Eneko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Ulizes in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Cugat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mercedes getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Abelardo Cordeiro hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Roque Eneko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ariel Ulizes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Suarez in the 23rd minute of play forced Agrelo AFC's goalkeeper Gualterio Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Suarez in the 27th minute of play. Jacobo Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Horacio Gelacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agrelo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes the free kick. Blas Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cheche having to interfere. Gualterio Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Ulizes in the 42nd minute of the match. Abelardo Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ariel Ulizes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cheche having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Ulizes to make the kick off. If Blas Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Ulizes came free, but Leonel Cugat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Ulizes in the 75th minute of the match. Ariel Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leonel Cugat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Ulizes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Ariel Ulizes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Cugat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Fernan Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agrelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agrelo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Roque Eneko scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Cheche, making the score, 0-1. The Agrelo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mercedes's performance. The match ended with a win for Mercedes.
