Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reynaldo Orzaize took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristo Shepherd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teofilo Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecilio Mincho hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Almafuerte booed when Llamería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Leopoldo Montae sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Llamería's Osvaldo Montez didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte's zone, Reynaldo Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Henric came out of the goal and Reynaldo Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Teofilo Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Orzaize dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonel Henric, 1-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristo Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llamería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Montez having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Maties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Montez was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Arturo Abeitia's late challenge caught a Almafuerte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Abeitia helped the player get up and apologised. Arturo Abeitia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Montez was a little too slow when Teofilo Pagomari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Benicio Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lorenzo Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Lorenzo Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Mincho charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Mincho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Almafuerte booed when Llamería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Pagomaris short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Osvaldo Montez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristo Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llamería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Lorenzo Maties who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llamería's Osvaldo Montez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Shepherd in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Henric saved Almafuerte from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Abeitia came free, but Leonel Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Henric having to interfere. After some careless play in the Almafuerte defense, Cristo Shepherd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Henric. The Almafuerte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Henric should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Llamería getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roman Marques hit a great ball. Llamería's Osvaldo Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Maties in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Llamería fans cheered their team off the field, for while Almafuerte had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
