In the 6th minute, Casimiro Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Carlos Vermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Abaurre. Ramírez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Vermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abel Barto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gavilán FC's Carlos Vermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Manuelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Patrido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Israel Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Vermudo in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Israel Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Freddy Manuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gavilán FC's zone, Freddy Manuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Patrido came out of the goal and Freddy Manuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Manuelo in the 63rd minute of play forced Gavilán FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ramírez FC's Israel Abaurre got control of the ball when Norberto Oxel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Israel Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Jacindo's late challenge caught a Ramírez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Jacindo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Enrique Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Jurdan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erubiel Patrido. Gavilán FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Freddy Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gavilán FC booed when Ramírez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Barto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Abaurre acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Casimiro Gentza. In the 80th minute, Norberto Oxel made a precise shot to the right of Israel Abaurre. Ramírez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Carlos Vermudos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Israel Abaurre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ramírez FC's Israel Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Vermudo in the 93rd minute of play. The Gavilán FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
