With a left leg Casimiro Tome saved Potrerillos AFC from getting behind. After 10 minutes, Delmiro Francis made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Anguli AFC's Nemesio Perico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th match minute, Potrerillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Senio to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes, Anguli AFC's Ricardo Frutos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casimiro Tome came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anguli AFC reached it. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Potrerillos AFC's goalkeeper Casimiro Tome, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Potrerillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Silban came free, but Casimiro Tome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Potrerillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Dominic. After a rather tough play, Anguli AFC's Emanuel Columbo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gaspar Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Potrerillos AFC booed when Anguli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Domingo Tomi sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Nemesio Perico threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Domingo Tomi this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Ereinotz in the 37th minute of play forced Potrerillos AFC's goalkeeper Casimiro Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tiburcio Ereinotz came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Anguli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Ereinotz couldn't finish the play. Anguli AFC's Emanuel Columbo pulled a muscle in his back after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Evaristo Senio got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Potrerillos AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Evaristo Senio hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gaspar Silban's late challenge caught a Potrerillos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Silban helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Anguli AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gaspar Silban hit a great ball. Anguli AFC's Nemesio Perico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Francis in the 62nd minute of play. When Faustino Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillos AFC's protests and gave Faustino Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. Esteban Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Potrerillos AFC booed when Anguli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
