Romulo Azubeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Medina's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Totakoxe came free, but Tomas Oriol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Romulo Azubeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Concepción a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ciro Vergaray, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Medina's Tomas Oriol. 0-1. Medina's Tomas Oriol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Pudes in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Medina's zone, Hilario Totakoxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Oriol came out of the goal and Hilario Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Totakoxe struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tomas Oriol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Clodoveo Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medina's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Toribio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romulo Azubeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Toribio having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Azubeli in the 69th minute of play forced Concepción's goalkeeper Constantino Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Hilario Totakoxe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Medina's Tomas Oriol. Tomas Oriol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 minutes of play, Medina's Amador Tipi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Toribio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filiberto Pudes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Tomas Oriol made a huge save. Filiberto Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Oriol having to interfere. Concepción played a much better game than Medina and deserved their victory. The Medina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
