Elvio Ubarna hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Rogelio Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Maore in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Norberto Taurino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabladitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquina FC the free kick. A collision led to Tabladitas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Norberto Taurino hit a great ball. Rogelio Felo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Christian Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. If Elpidio Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Venancio Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Elpidio Obeko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabladitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquina FC the free kick. The supporters of Esquina FC booed when Tabladitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Felo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Umbruso in the 39th minute. Elpidio Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Peruxu having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Tabladitas's Venancio Canor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Peruxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Venancio Canor came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tabladitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Canor couldn't finish the play. Venancio Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Peruxu having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Canor to make the kick off. After 54 minutes Tabladitas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Petrigai who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Christian Petrigai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tabladitas's Rogelio Felo did a great save. Rogelio Felo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruperto Maore's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Maore in the 68th minute of play forced Tabladitas's goalkeeper Rogelio Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Canor in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Esquina FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Ubarna. Anselmo Tabby charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Tabby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Edelmiro Peruxu, was totally fooled by Tabladitas's Norberto Taurino, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ruperto Maore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rogelio Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruperto Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Umbruso in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98thth minute of the game Venancio Canor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquina FC's Edelmiro Peruxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tabladitas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
