Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hinojo! The referee gave Herrera a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lisandro Etxekopar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hinojo's Gogo Onofre. 1-0. If Antonio Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herrera's Rodrigo Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Olayo in the 14th minute of play. Gogo Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Nahia in the 19th minute of the match. Herrera were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Hinojo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lisandro Etxekopar took the corner. After a rather tough play, Hinojo's Hipolito Eleazar got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes, Herrera's Lisandro Etxekopar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gogo Onofre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herrera reached it. After 24 minutes, Gaston Stanislao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hinojo and the Herrera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hinojo's Gaston Stanislao got a free kick in the 24th minute. Faustino Erdiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gogo Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hinojo's Domingo Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Nahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Herrera's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Cordaryal came free, but Rodrigo Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Nahia succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Faustino Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Onofre having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Herrera got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Velasco. Nereo Garci made a great header on Hinojo's corner, it was just that Herrera's Rodrigo Bermudo managed to reach the ball for a save. Nereo Garci got in the 65th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Rodrigo Bermudo and thus it was 2-1. Hinojo's Gogo Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Nahia in the 69th minute of play. Isaias Velasco hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Nereo Garci came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Hinojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Garci couldn't finish the play. Antonio Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rodrigo Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Lizar in the 88th minute of the match. Domingo Olayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Bermudo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Olayo ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustino Erdiano struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Gogo Onofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herrera. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Herrera had won after a very even match.
