A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Caspi's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Francesco came free, but Bernabe Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Leoncio during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavio Leoncio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Caspi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vicente Ponciano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Suruipiana defense, Fabio Kimetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio George. The Suruipiana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio George should have stopped the shot. Fabio Kimetz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Kimetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Suruipiana booed when Caspi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Kimetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Jurdan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Ponciano went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Eulalio Maties fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caspi's protests and gave Eulalio Maties a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Eulalio Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vicente Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suruipiana's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Larra scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio George, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Gregorio George made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Enzo Larra sent off a good shot on target. Caspi's Bernabe Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ponciano in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Enzo Larra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Caspi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Petrigai to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Caspi's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Francesco came free, but Bernabe Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
