Gerardo Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Salbatore having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Guib in the 6th minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Albino Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Dalmau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Bajastine's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Abalos came free, but Adan Salbatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Baltasar Dalmau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Lon in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Salbatore saved Bajastine from getting behind. Albino Afonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Urbano Guib showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Adan Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Lon in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, one of Bajastine:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Herrera's Nereo Lon in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bajastine's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Bajastine's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Guib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
