In the 4th minute, Guaberto Bortzaioriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anacleto Chabier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Yatay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Yatay's Anacleto Chabier in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Munro AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Fidel Cuarto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elpidio Porfiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Fidel Cuarto could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Elpidio Porfiro however easily saved by the left post. Fidel Cuarto struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Elpidio Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yatay. Fidel Cuarto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Elpidio Porfiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute, Humberto Aurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Anacleto Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yatay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Chabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Bortzaioriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eleuterio Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Bortzaioriz got free with Eleuterio Sustrai in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Txilar during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute Anacleto Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Hibai hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Humberto Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Elpidio Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Chabier in the 86th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Lucio Hibai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yatay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Munro AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Yatay's Lucio Hibai got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Romulo Txilar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eleuterio Sustrai skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th minute, Anacleto Chabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Munro AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yatay.
