After 3 minutes, Clodoveo Chabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manantiales and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clodoveo Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Manantiales's zone, Dalmacio Maxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Bizen came out of the goal and Dalmacio Maxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Quintyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Raitin's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The supporters of Manantiales booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Clodoveo Chabier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmitas's Alvaro Quintyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Cuartio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Cuartio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Cuartio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Clodoveo Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Chabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manantiales's Matias Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. Silverio Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Gilberto Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ambrosio Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manantiales's Matias Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. Matias Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Chabier in the 37th minute of the match. Dalmacio Maxin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Matias Bizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Kiliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
