Zelaya AFC's Mauro Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, David Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zelaya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Viviano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Albigasta's protests and gave Matias Hanot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zelaya AFC booed when Albigasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Albigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Dimo came free, but Dionisio Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Dimo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Dimo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albigasta's Dionisio Berasko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Albigasta from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Zelaya AFC defense, Florentino Ortle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Resto. The Zelaya AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Resto should have stopped the shot.
