Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paolo Timo started the match with the kick off. Efrain Vela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Montae went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Gómez's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Montae came free, but Efrain Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Lugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Timo in the 17th minute of play forced Gómez's goalkeeper Efrain Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Gervasio Montae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Gervasio Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Lugo scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Obano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teo Velasco. That made the score 3-1 in the 36 minute of play. Benito Lugo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 40th playminute. Tomas Obano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Benito Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Velasco having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Obano was the one to do the kick off. If Tomas Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gómez's Benito Lugo in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cadillo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Tomas Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gómez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 81st minute, Marcial Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cadillo AFC's Gervasio Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Velasco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gómez's zone, Paolo Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Vela came out of the goal and Paolo Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gómez fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cadillo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
