In the 2nd minute, Hector Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eustacio Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Justo Chepe fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacó's protests and gave Justo Chepe a yellow card for diving instead. Hector Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hector Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriana Dunixi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cosme Presebal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Blas Berart, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Narciso Oliverio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Eustacio Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacó. Curacó's Rodolfo Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Veremundo in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Adriana Dunixi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilcaniyeu the free kick. The supporters of Pilcaniyeu booed when Curacó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriana Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Curacó's Rodolfo Casomiro got control of the ball when Hector Ermano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Veremundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Veremundo in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Nicasio Beti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustacio Lugo. Nicasio Beti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Oliverio got free with Eustacio Lugo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Ermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Albino Veremundo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eustacio Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Beti in the 79th minute of play. Hector Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rodolfo Casomiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hector Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Casomiro having to interfere. Hector Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Rodolfo Casomiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Veremundo in the 99th minute of the match.
