The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomiro Urtun charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Urtun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Urtun. Geronimo Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bernardino Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Arsenio Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Geronimo Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Sustrai came out of the goal and Geronimo Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Cuartio struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bernardino Sustrai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaichá FC. After 32 played minutes Amaichá FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Francho. In the 33rd match minute, Amaichá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Francho to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Salamon in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Arsenio Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Birjaio during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Birjaio was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Arsenio Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Sal to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Basilio Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Denis Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 56 in the game by Denis Sal from a close distance when the talented Lázaro Eliu managed to make a qualified save. Amaichá FC's players were relieved. Denis Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geronimo Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Geronimo Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maximiliano Mogel might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Sustrai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Mogel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Geronimo Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Salamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bernardino Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maravilla's Bernardino Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Cuartio in the 77th minute of play. When Denis Sal came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Sal couldn't finish the play. In the 86thth minute of the game Geronimo Cuartio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Bernardino Sustrai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lázaro Eliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maravilla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amaichá FC.
