Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cienaguita AFC's Benicio Lano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 played minutes, Cienaguita AFC's Cesar Txema shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santiago Servando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cienaguita AFC reached it. Celestino Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Guter having to interfere. Cienaguita AFC's Jimeno Guter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Cienaguita AFC from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Guter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita AFC's Ernesto Egun got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes, Albano Manny mouthed his way into the referee's book. When Raimundo Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Norumbega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Urbes couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Urbes struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jimeno Guter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norumbega. Jimeno Guter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Raimundo Urbes made the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Bastian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Servando. Norumbega's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jesus Rencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Servando having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Rencio got free with Santiago Servando in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Servando acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cesar Txema. With a little luck, Norumbega's Santiago Servando got control of the ball when Jesus Rencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jesus Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Norumbega fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cienaguita AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
