Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Horacio Ponciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Cordarryl having to make a save. After 7 played minutes Marengo got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Irrintzi. Bernabe Cordarryl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Ponciano's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Horacio Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocitos 's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Cordarryl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Cordarryl having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Gustau in the 18th minute of play forced Pocitos 's goalkeeper Luisito Isidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Hurko charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Hurko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, one of Pocitos :s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pocitos . In the 34th minute Horacio Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Ponciano got free with Bernabe Cordarryl in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Crescencio in the 40th minute of the match. If Horacio Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bernabe Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Ponciano in the 48th minute of play forced Marengo's goalkeeper Bernabe Cordarryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Astor Gustau made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Horacio Ponciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernabe Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Ponciano in the 56th minute of the match. Marengo's Severiano Theodore got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bernabe Cordarryl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocitos . Domingo Irrintzi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Eugenio Ricart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Astor Gustau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luisito Isidor. Astor Gustau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Severiano Theodore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Luisito Isidor made a huge save. Luisito Isidor made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Severiano Theodore sent off a good shot on target. Bernabe Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Ponciano in the 77th minute of the match. Luisito Isidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Gustau went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Eugenio Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Pocitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Ricart couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Marengo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Domingo Irrintzi hit a great ball. When Horacio Ponciano came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Pocitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Ponciano couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Marengo's zone, Eugenio Ricart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Cordarryl came out of the goal and Eugenio Ricart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Bernabe Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Ricart in the 96th minute of play. Marengo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
