Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horacio Ponciano took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Duggan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Valentine. When Eugenio Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pocitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Ricart couldn't finish the play. Horacio Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Ponciano in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Mambru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silverio Mattin charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Mattin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filiberto Jaunzuria charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 23 played minutes Duggan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Jaunzuria. Pocitos 's Simon Eutropio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Duggan AFC. Paulo Mambru came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Pocitos 's Horacio Ponciano. But to his dismay, Horacio Ponciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Paulo Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duggan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Iyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Pocitos 's Eugenio Ricart in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duggan AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Luisito Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Sazon in the 38th minute of play. Paulo Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Candido Atarratze's late challenge caught a Duggan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Atarratze helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pocitos getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Candido Atarratze hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Duggan AFC's Teodoro Sazon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Isidor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodoro Sazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luisito Isidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Pocitos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Sazon made a kick off. When Pocitos 's Horacio Ponciano in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duggan AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Eugenio Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Mambru having to interfere. Horacio Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Duggan AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ricardo Valentine hit a great ball. Paulo Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Teodoro Sazon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocitos 's Luisito Isidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Duggan AFC's Paulo Mambru got control of the ball when Eugenio Ricart tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Paulo Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duggan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Iyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pocitos 's Eugenio Ricart got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Paulo Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocitos . Paulo Mambru came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Pocitos 's Horacio Ponciano. But to his dismay, Horacio Ponciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Eugenio Ricart struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Paulo Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocitos . Paulo Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Ponciano in the 98th minute of play. Pocitos 's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
