Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvio Afonso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gaudencio Celino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Kaxen in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Afonso in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Celino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luis Kaxen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cieneguila AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Kaxen couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Pantanillo's Tomás Innocenzio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Onofre. Narciso Onofre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Marcelo Azibar charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Azibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Pantanillo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cieneguila AFC:s goal. Pantanillo:s Gaudencio Celino showed great skill when he stopped Nunez Aballe:s penalty. In the 30th minute, Nunez Aballe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Celino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Narciso Onofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Tebaldo in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cieneguila AFC's zone, Silvano Tebaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Onofre came out of the goal and Silvano Tebaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Innocenzio in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Onofre saved Cieneguila AFC from getting behind. Hugo Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Narciso Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Cieneguila AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Onofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Tebaldo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Innocenzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pantanillo booed when Cieneguila AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Onofre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Innocenzio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Pantanillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Azibar to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Onofre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Innocenzio went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Narciso Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tomás Innocenzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Onofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Innocenzio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Pantanillo's Gaudencio Celino got control of the ball when Luis Kaxen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cieneguila AFC's zone, Tomás Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Onofre came out of the goal and Tomás Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Aldo Kauldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cieneguila AFC's Nunez Aballe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pantanillo. With an all-out effort, Cieneguila AFC's Gaudencio Celino threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvio Afonso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Silvio Afonso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Silvio Afonso struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gaudencio Celino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cieneguila AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Afonso in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Celino saved Pantanillo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Tebaldo in the 96th minute of play forced Cieneguila AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Onofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cieneguila AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
