Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albano Fiz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Tambillos's Domingo Sandalio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Isias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damaso Gitano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Tambillos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oriente:s goal. Godofredo Pietro had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Teodoro Sustrai's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th minute, Teodoro Sustrai made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Pietro. Tambillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Marcial Lizbeth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oriente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Lizbeth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Lisandro Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Tambillos got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Hustaz. In the 24th minute, Marcial Lizbeth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lisandro Isadore charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Isadore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Tambillos got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Isadore. After a rather tough play, Tambillos's Ernesto Urdaspal got a free kick in the 31st minute. Godofredo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Polo in the 34th minute of the match. If Marcial Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Ernesto Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Lizbeth was the one to do the kick off. Tambillos's Ernesto Urdaspal got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Lizbeth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Domingo Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Pietro having to interfere. Oriente's Lisandro Polo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Oriente's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tambillos had won, even though Oriente had held more of the ball.
