Ceferino Guib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fermin Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fermin Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Eufrasio in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Lucio Hanot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cieneguila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otamendi FC the free kick. A collision led to Cieneguila getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lucio Hanot hit a great ball. If Gonzalo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Evaristo Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonatan Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Micael in the 43rd minute of play forced Cieneguila's goalkeeper Jonatan Pio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Salvador Guillen in the 46th minute really tested Jonatan Pio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Gonzalo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Otamendi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Micael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fermin Salamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cieneguila defense, Evaristo Micael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Pio. The Cieneguila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Pio should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Cieneguila booed when Otamendi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Eufrasio in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Otamendi FC's goalkeeper Fermin Salamon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Guib. Salvador Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Vicente Eufrasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Otamendi FC! Otamendi FC's Gonzalo Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Maureo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Cieneguila's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Micael came free, but Jonatan Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Otamendi FC booed when Cieneguila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gonzalo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Otamendi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 102nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Otamendi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cieneguila's performance. The match ended with a win for Cieneguila.
