After 6 minutes, Generoso Tajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crucecita AFC and the Manantial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 8 minutes into the match, Manantial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Guipuzkoa came free, but Tobias Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Brais in the 11th minute of play forced Manantial FC's goalkeeper Tobias Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Manantial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Gai to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Elias Brais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crucecita AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Brais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 29 played minutes, Crucecita AFC's Lorenzo Aballe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Natal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crucecita AFC reached it. If Clodoveo Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Manantial FC's Maximino Senon got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Fermin Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Gai's late challenge caught a Crucecita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Gai helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Manantial FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Gai. 41 minutes in the game, Elias Brais dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The Manantial FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Manantial FC's Clodoveo Loren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fermin Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tobias Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Brais made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Manantial FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Osmundo. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manantial FC's goalkeeper Tobias Natal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Crucecita AFC's Elias Brais in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manantial FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ubaldo Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Loren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Maximino Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manantial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Cordarrell was slow to take the kick. During this time Crucecita AFC's players had a chance to rest. Tobias Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Tajo in the 70th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Manantial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Gai to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Loren in the 87th minute of play forced Crucecita AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manantial FC's Tobias Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Brais in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
