When Remigio Firmo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ripamonti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Firmo couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Innocenzio in the 10th minute of play. If Remigio Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Jeremias Rayman got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Edgardo Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Epifanio Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Firmo scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Buinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Lavalle players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
