Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guillermo Galeno started the match with the kick off. Santiago Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Boniel in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Galeno in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Gaitano saved Brea from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Alanices's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Boniel came free, but Santiago Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Gaitano made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Siro Favila sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Aznaro in the 15th minute of play forced Alanices's goalkeeper Santiago Pacifico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Galeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 22 minutes, Vladimiro Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brea and the Alanices players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brea getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vladimiro Vidal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brea's zone, Siro Favila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Gaitano came out of the goal and Siro Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Vidal hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Santiago Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jairo Gaitano made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Siro Favila sent off a good shot on target. Dante Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 49 minutes, Saturnino Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Boniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Aznaro to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Alanices's goalkeeper Santiago Pacifico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Boniel. Jairo Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Brea's Teodoro Herena got a free kick in the 59th minute. Brea's Jairo Gaitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Favila in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Siro Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Siro Favila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Gaitano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Siro Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brea booed when Alanices was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Galeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Paulino Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Siro Favila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brea's Jairo Gaitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Favila in the 83rd minute of play forced Brea's goalkeeper Jairo Gaitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Aznaro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Brea's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Brea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
