Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonzalo Frutos got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Gonzalo Frutos made a precise shot to the right of Jimeno Henry. Sorocayense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sorocayense FC's Jimeno Henry proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sorocayense FC from getting a goal against them. Gonzalo Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Henry having to interfere. Alfredo Baumar's late challenge caught a Sorocayense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Baumar helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Severino Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Paulo Sotil heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jimeno Henry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Sorocayense FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Henry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Frutos. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Maximiliano Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Tierra y las Hormigas's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Henry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Playo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Sorocayense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Lehior to maneuver through the defense. When Pedro Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the La Tierra y las Hormigas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Odilon couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Frutos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jimeno Henry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of La Tierra y las Hormigas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sorocayense FC:s goal. The referee gave Sorocayense FC a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Higinio Abella, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Tierra y las Hormigas's Fernando Ariando. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Frutos got free with Jimeno Henry in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Savier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sorocayense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Frutos came free, but Jimeno Henry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fernando Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Tierra y las Hormigas's Alfredo Baumar got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 66 minutes Sorocayense FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Quentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La Tierra y las Hormigas's Carlos Quentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Jimeno Henry despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fernando Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Savier in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, La Tierra y las Hormigas's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Sotil came free, but Fernando Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Lucado charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Lucado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Tierra y las Hormigas! When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Sorocayense FC's Higinio Abella got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernando Ariando. In the 76th minute Gonzalo Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Abella got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Severino Savier. Gonzalo Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Gonzalo Frutos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, La Tierra y las Hormigas's Gonzalo Frutos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Henry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baltasar Lehior kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match.
