Orlando Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Joseph blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Ieltxu having to make a save. If Paulino Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Orlando Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Santo Socorro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th minute, Elias Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Sidoro was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Agustin Frederico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustin Frederico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 27 played minutes Rocha FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Asier. 28 minutes into the match, Gaboto AFC's Alejandro Luzea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Orlando Ieltxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Veremundo in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Rocha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Veremundo came free, but Orlando Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Ieltxu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Joseph went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Veremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. Benigno Joseph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Orlando Ieltxu made a huge save. If Juan Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Ieltxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Veremundo in the 61st minute of the match. Agustin Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Ieltxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Joseph in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Santo Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rocha FC and the Gaboto AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Rocha FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Socorro. In the 68th minute of the match, Paulino Veremundo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando Ieltxu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anastasio Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Juan Richie struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Anastasio Sidoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocha FC. Benigno Joseph's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Orlando Ieltxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Gaboto AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Elias Ihintza hit a great ball. After 78 minutes Gaboto AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Bonifaco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rocha FC's corner Oscar Bonifaco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anastasio Sidoro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute Paulino Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Ihintza was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Gaboto AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Elias Ihintza hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Paulino Veremundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Orlando Ieltxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaboto AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
