Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pablo Ferrando made the kick off and thus started the match. After 10 played minutes Unquillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lop. Defensores de Belgrano's Vicente Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Gomesano in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Teofilo Piarres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unquillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Belgrano the free kick. After having played for 18 minutes, Danilo Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensores de Belgrano were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Unquillo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zeledon Chuan took the corner. The corner led Defensores de Belgrano's Zeledon Chuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Raitin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Defensores de Belgrano's Desiderio Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Donostia in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Gomesano came free, but Desiderio Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Lope struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Sergio Raitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Belgrano. In the 45th minute Paulo Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Daniel Lop shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Escobar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Danilo Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Raitin having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Lope to make the kick off. Danilo Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sergio Raitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Unquillo AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Emiliano Rufio hit a great ball. Sergio Raitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Ferrando came free, but Desiderio Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensores de Belgrano made a substitution. Justo Romero replaced Albino Rioja. A collision led to Defensores de Belgrano getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rogelio Ceandro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Defensores de Belgrano's Desiderio Escobar got control of the ball when Filiberto Gomesano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desiderio Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Ferrando in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Paulo Donostia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Escobar. Paulo Donostia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Justo Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sergio Raitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Escobar having to interfere. Sergio Raitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Defensores de Belgrano lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
