Mariano Salbatore didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 6th minute, Paata Grande fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mariano Salbatore, passed just outside the right post. 25 minutes into the match, Colipilli FC's Paata Grande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Salbatore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimeno Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paata Grande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mariano Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Paata Grande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colipilli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paata Grande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Salbatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 minutes of play, Colipilli FC's Elano Alvarenga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Salbatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elano Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Salbatore having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paata Grande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elano Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Benicio Sabin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colipilli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Sabin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colipilli FC's Jimeno Jon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Colipilli FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Elano Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colipilli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cantadero AFC's Mariano Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paata Grande in the 76th minute of play. When Elano Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Colipilli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Elano Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Sabin in the 81st minute of play forced Cantadero AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Salbatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Sabin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mariano Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colipilli FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Alvarenga in the 84th minute of play forced Cantadero AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Salbatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paata Grande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mariano Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elano Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
