Lamarque FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Maore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Teodosio Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Concoran AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Gabon to maneuver through the defense. If Gervasio Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gervasio Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Concoran AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Gabon couldn't finish the play. If Casimiro Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Beila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Perez was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Many of Concoran AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Concoran AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Lamarque FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
