Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Victorino Maxin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3rd play minutes Anibal Valentine shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Folker Daalmeyer and just under the crossbar into goal. Bartolo Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Maxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Lanús's Cayetano Sabin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folker Daalmeyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Folker Daalmeyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Valentine's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Mendez during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lanús getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Maximiliano Mendez hit a great ball. Lanús's Lucio Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Lanús was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Selmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, David Soin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lanús's Bartolo Haimar didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Sabin in the 34th minute of play forced Team Austral's goalkeeper Folker Daalmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Haimar having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Maxin came free, but Bartolo Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Valentine to make the kick off. Team Austral's Erasmo Hodei pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Lucio Millano fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanús's protests and gave Lucio Millano a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Anibal Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanús's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Valentine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Team Austral's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Anibal Valentine scored to the left of an out of position Folker Daalmeyer, making the score, 0-3. Anibal Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Folker Daalmeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Team Austral getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Silverio Lapurdi hit a great ball. If Cayetano Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Anibal Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanús's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Valentine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
