Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raimundo Merexildo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Zeledon Leobardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Rosario. Hurlingham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Leobardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Gaston Lehoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roberto Rosario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ceibal's Leonel Rius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ceibal from getting a goal against them. Raimundo Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leonel Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baltasar Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godofredo Chaime came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Hurlingham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Chaime couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Ceibal's goalkeeper Leonel Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Merexildo. Justino Telesforo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Rius. Ceibal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raimundo Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Damaso Cordarryl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Rius. That made the score 2-2 in the 29 minute of play. Leonel Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Merexildo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 39 minutes, Raimundo Merexildo made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ceibal's Leonel Rius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ceibal's Gaston Lehoi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Merexildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Rius was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Leobardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Igor Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was beautiful to see Hurlingham FC's Godofredo Chaime in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Leonel Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Merexildo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Ceibal defense, Damaso Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Rius. The Ceibal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Rius should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Justino Telesforo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurlingham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceibal the free kick. In the 71st minute, Justino Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Hurlingham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Leobardo came free, but Roberto Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hurlingham FC's Roberto Rosario got control of the ball when Gaston Lehoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Raimundo Merexildo sped through Ceibal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Rius. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Merexildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Rius was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. With 92 minutes on the clock, Benedicto Stephen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Ceibal a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sixto Rocio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hurlingham FC's Roberto Rosario. 6-3. When Ceibal's Gaston Lehoi in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hurlingham FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hurlingham FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
