Evelio Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Tiamayo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Patrido. The long shot by Arturo Chorache in the 16th minute really tested Eriberto Roland's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Patrido during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tiamayo AFC's Roman Patrido got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Roque Soin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiamayo AFC's protests and gave Roque Soin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Roque Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eriberto Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Evelio Macerio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eriberto Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Roland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Llorenc in the 31st minute. Evelio Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Roland having to interfere. If Victorio Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Llorencs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Eriberto Roland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Victorio Llorenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Llorenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Roland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bonifacio Romelio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Sidoro in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Katia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Batea FC's Gavino Romelio got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Fidencio got free with Simon Katia in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evelio Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eriberto Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Victorio Llorenc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eriberto Roland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eriberto Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Llorenc in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Victorio Llorenc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiamayo AFC's Eriberto Roland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Soin was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Llorenc in the 77th minute of play forced Tiamayo AFC's goalkeeper Eriberto Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Victorio Llorenc came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Batea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Llorenc couldn't finish the play. Evelio Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eriberto Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiamayo AFC's Erasmo Fidencio got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batea FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
